American artist Peter Halley is among the 21st century’s greatest practitioners of geometric abstraction. His paintings at once suggest contemporary urban spaces and the microchips and screens of the digital universe. This full-career retrospective features works spanning from 1985 through to 2024, all drawn from public and private collections in Spain. Curated by Guillermo Solana, the artistic director of the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza, Peter Halley in Spain was also on view at the Casal Solleric in Mallorca following its presentation in Madrid.
