With a selection of more than one hundred works by such significant artists as Warhol, Rauschenberg, Wesselmann, Lichtenstein, Hockney and Hamilton, this exhibition represents both the pioneering experience of British Pop and American classical Pop Art and its expansion throughout Europe.
The exhibition investigates the common sources of Pop Art and makes a review of the myths that have traditionally defined a movement that continues to have resonance today.
Exhibition curated by Paloma Alarcó, Head of Conservation of Modern Painting at the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum.
