The Hungarian photographer Brassaï is a fundamental figure in the history of 20th century photography. His work, which possesses the documentary nature of photography and its conception as a creative medium, is considered one of the cornerstones of a new artistic trend that emerged between the World War I and II.
This catalog draws a map of his career that shows all the facets of the photographer beyond his famous portraits of Parisian nightlife.
