The Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain inaugurates its new spaces in the heart of Paris with Exposition Générale, a landmark presentation of its collection, bringing together nearly 600 works by 100 artists. The exhibition catalogue offers a comprehensive panorama of contemporary artistic creation, while highlighting the deep and enduring ties that have united the Fondation Cartier with artists for more than forty years.
Texts by the exhibition curators, Grazia Quaroni and Béatrice Grenier, by the philosopher Emanuele Coccia, as well as a conversation with the scenographers Formafantasma and detailed artwork entries, provide deeper insight into the exceptional history of this collection and the richness of the works it comprises.
