Some critics describe the painter and sculptor Antonio López as the most important artist alive today. A master of urban landscapes, with special emphasis on architecture, but also of portraiture, his work has defined hyperrealism since he began his artistic career in the mid-1950s.
This is his first retrospective in Barcelona, and brings together around a hundred works of painting, sculpture and drawing spanning a period of seventy years of uninterrupted work.
Exhibition organized in collaboration with the Drents Museum (Assen, Netherlands).
