Cristina Iglesias is one of Spain’s most internationally acclaimed artists. Her work explores the relationships between architecture, nature, and space, creating environments that transform the viewer’s perception through materials, textures, reflections, and organic forms.
The catalogue accompanying the exhibition dedicated to her work at La Pedrera offers an overview of her artistic universe and the connections she establishes between her works and the architecture of Antoni Gaudí. The exhibition’s curator, James Lingwood, contributes an essay on Iglesias’s work, alongside texts by Juan José Lahuerta and poet and art critic Cherry Smyth.
